It’s my life

Hi guys,

It feels good to be back. I didn’t realize I missed blogging so much until I tried it again.

Today I want to give you a little sneak peak into my life. I always love these posts on other blogs so why not try it myself?

I bought an Iphone recently and since I discovered Instagram I love taking pictures and share it with the world. Please note that the quality of the pictures might not be that great but I am working on my skills, haha.

One week ago I received some great news as I shared with you in my last post.
I got into the IDEE programme at the HvA in Amsterdam. I am so excited and I can’t wait to start with this new chapter of my life.

Three weeks ago I decided that I want to get fit. I want to shed all those extra pounds and become healthy again. I have a long journey ahead of me but I don’t care, I’m in it for the long run!
In two weeks I’ve lost 3,8 kg. Tomorrow is my next weigh-in and I hope I have reached at least -5 kg by then.

In the Swatch store in Amsterdam I bought this very comfortable watch. It’s very trendy and you can wrap the band around your wrist twice. It has a bracelet kind off feeling.
I really like this colour and it gives me a ‘gotta catch ’em all’ feeling.

My IPhone looked a little boring to me so I bought this case on Ebay for €2,-.

The seller decided to give me this wooden chick magnet. Gosh, it’s so ugly! I really don’t get why they give free stuff like this. It’s crap!

I have one holy grail beauty item that everyone should own. Yes, even the gentlemen.
It’s the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. It works wonders on dry skin and I can’t believe I was able to buy it for such a great price.

My best friend turned 23 years old a few days ago and her gifts needed to be wrapped. I just love this wrapping paper from Primark.
I gave my friend a gift certificate for a jeweler, a massagebar for her and her boyfriend from Lush, a silver nailpolish and some chocolates.

I love everything that is retro or vintage and red nailpolish always makes me feel like a pin-up.
The nailpolish is from P2 and is called ‘dating time’. Now, where is that date? I haven’t seen him anywhere.

I spotted this cool truck when I visited my friend. Don’t you just love it?

My friend and I love Disney movies. We always watch them when we’re together and this time we decided to watch Beauty and the Beast. One of my faves!

It took me a few weeks but I decided to give the whole blogging thing another go. And I am glad I took this decision. Blogging gives me a sense of purpose.

In Amsterdam I bought this amazing notebook in which I can write all my mini and mayor goals. This is thé notebook for me, I am so happy with this.

I am a musical freak. In my free time I don’t listen to rap, r&b or anything like that but songs such as Bring him home from Les Misérables.
I love this version, it always brings tears to my eyes.

If you want to lose weight you need to get off your butt and do something. I’ve done this Crunch Bootcamp several times this week and boy do I sweat afterwards!

I’ve had my Bebook for over two years but I’ve only been using it frequently for the last two weeks. It’s such a great invention.

I’ve signed up for the Combi-pas that Weight Watchers offers and via internet I can find a lot of yummy recipes.
This paella recipe looks so good. I am going to try it this friday with chicken instead of sea fruits.

I am a big fan of Goodreads and the book clubs it holds. Every bookclub chooses different books to read and discuss every month and this list was just a small part of all the books I still need to read this month.
I am currently reading Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys (not to be confused with Fifty Shades of Grey) and it has taken my breath away. So well written and so impressive.

Your thoughts
What did you think of this blogpost? Would you like to get a sneak peak into my life every week? I know this week has been a little bit boring but I will try to spice things up a little. I will take pictures of yours truly and maybe even a few hipsterish (yes, totally made that up) food pics.

You can follow me on Twitter or Instagram if you would like to see the pictures before I publish them onto the blog. My username for Instagram is ayearofprojects.
